Core Muscle Recruitment
Core Muscle Recruitment refers to the activation of the deep muscles that support the spine, pelvis, and abdomen. In Pilates, learning to properly engage these muscles helps improve posture, balance, stability, and overall movement efficiency while reducing strain on the joints and surrounding muscles.
EDS/Hypermobility
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a group of connective tissue disorders that affect the body's collagen, which provides support and stability to joints, skin, and other tissues. Many individuals with EDS experience hypermobility, meaning their joints move beyond the normal range of motion.
